Grammar can be somewhat of a lackluster subject with children. Have You Ever? explores the parts of speech in a fun way; building sentences that are tongue twisting and full of challenging vocabulary words. My inspiration for this book was a simple one; I am a self-proclaimed "Word Nerd". I have always enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing Mad Libs with my son, two of my favorite ways to flex my grammar muscles! Have You Ever? lends itself well as a read aloud book, and as the child ages, is appropriate for independent reading as well.
