Cotey Gallagher was born and raised in picturesque Vermont. She attended college in Boston, MA. and majored in art, receiving a BFA in illustration. Her main focus is caricature and editorial, but has always had a passion for children's books... and humor. Cotey has also illustrated a series of 4 books depicting the beauty and activities of the 4 seasons of the Green Mountain State. She resides in Salisbury Vermont with her husband, son and cat.
